Every single squared-off fender drives me completely insane, with few exceptions (eg Wrangler). The worst are the last-gen Grand Cherokee and all the GMC Fugmobile crossovers. I don’t have OCD, but I can be swayed.

I’m not arguing your reasoning at all, that is probably a big contributor as it defines the segment, along side 16" badges and grills that would look at home on a school bus.
